When you decide you want to make your own beat, it’s easy to get put off by the thought of everything you’re going to have to buy before you can even get started. But don’t be put off – it is possible to get started on a limited budget, even if you don’t have much experience.
Hardware synthesizers were often used to create basslines and put together the instruments that make the beat sound just right. The problem with these, though, is that they make things very expensive and can cost you thousands. Plus, if you’ve never tried to make your own beat before, there could be a really steep learning curve to use the hardware.

I mentioned once that you should read the instructions when you need to make your own rap beats. Well today, you are in-luck because I’ll now be talking about exactly that. In my experience, most of the people who make their own rap beats with software just ignore the tutorials and jump right in trying to make beats. I know it’s fun, but the truth is that this isn’t the best way to get the most out of the software.
If only 2pac and Bernie could see what their music have inspired programmers to do, then they would be proud. Rap truly became popular in the early 90s, and has grown and expanded into other musical groups ever since.
